Welcome to the August 10th Ecosystem Updates! SORA Integrated Plan Every ecosystem update shows significant progress for the different milestones and this time is no different! This is the sixth update to the SORA Integrated plan and we are happy to announce that work on the SORA Kusama parachain has been completed. The parachain is fully functional and ready to connect to the SORA main net. The bridge to enable this connection is not quite ready yet, however. There has been solid progress with bridge development and the team is working hard on implementing HRMP connections to other networks on the rococo test network, a relayer, and package updates. This is a sensitive process and a lot of care and attention is required to make sure that the bridge keeps everything SAFU. At the same time, the talented team at Parity has also made strides with the development of BEEFY proofs and our implementation is greatly benefitting from this, which means that the parachain bridge is ever closer to being ready. We reiterate our support to the team at Parity and are welcome to collaborate however we can. On the Substrate 4 front, great progress has been made, with our node syncing now without issues. Subscan fixes and front-end implementations were also worked on this fortnight and we are looking forward to upgrading to Substrate 4 very soon, which will have a great and positive effect on other dependencies, such as adding the SORA network to Fearless Wallet! The trustless EVM bridge was recently audited and the team is working hard on addressing the recommendations made. As mentioned last fortnight, the bridge must be able to withstand anything and everything, therefore it is very important to focus on security, but it should also be intuitive and friendly to use. It is expected to be able to start public testing this week. Please look forward to more updates soon! The SORA mobile milestones are progressing smoothly, although the implementation of Substrate 4 is blocking the Polkaswap Pooling mobile functionality, Referrals on SORA mobile are now available for Android, with iOS coming very soon! On the other hand, multiple account support on SORA mobile are now available for both platforms! Last but certainly not least, DEO Arena MVP development is complete! You can try your hand at one-on-one matches for free until the first season begins. The Ceres team encourages all players to try the game and share any feedback or bugs. Once the first season begins, there will be a cost of 4 DEO per match, with the opportunity to take a piece of the $20,000 worth of XOR prize pool! Stay tuned for more information from the Ceres team. A Ceres bug bounty with rewards of up to $70,000 is also live as of today! That’s all for this fortnight’s You are Here. Now let’s go on to the development highlights. Thank you for following the SORA Integrated Plan progress. Remember that as a decentralised project, you can also make your own proposal to the Integrated Plan through the SORA RFP Process. See you in two weeks! You can find the summary of the integrated plan points published in the July 14 ecosystem updates on the SORA Wiki.
